Tasks

-Physically inspects community when on grounds, resolves issues and reports any service needs to maintenance staff -Maintains optimal renewal rates administering lease agreements for current residents -Monitors and enforces compliance with all pertinent company policies, procedures, and standards related to business and operations -Maintains day-to-day operations of the property while emphasizing a professional and friendly atmosphere for all residents and clients -Proactively gathers resident feedback -Acts as liaison between Community Director, building staff and residents. -Contributes ideas for marketing the community and enhancing the living environment of residents -Works collaboratively to meet and exceed goals relative to resident satisfaction, resident retention, occupancy levels, and property objectives -Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local laws as they pertain to fair housing, credit reporting, leasing, and residential requirements -Assists with administering lease agreements for prospective residents -Oversees the maintenance of accurate resident records including rents, deposits and application fees received by residents -Issues appropriate notices when necessary (i.e., late payment, eviction notices, returned checks, memos) and miscellaneous resident communication as needed -Assists with coordination of the team members to achieve established budgeted financial and operational goals -Accountable for resident consultation with aim to limit account delinquencies resulting in provocation of eviction notices by ownership

Luxury residential property is seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant General Manager to join our team in Jersey City, New Jersey! This position assists the General Manager with maximizing the operating performance of the property. -Experience with AppFolio Products preferred -Experience leading a high-performing team -Proficient in Microsoft Office -Working knowledge of building operations and maintenance. -Must have valid driver's license and automobile insurance -2-3 years of leasing, sales, or property management experience, preferred -Excellent verbal and written communication skills -Applicant must be able to meet physical requirements to perform standing and walking activities related to inspecting and presenting property -3-5 years of business, accounting, hospitality, or property management experience -Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills -Successful candidates should possess excellent time management and problem-solving skills -Must be organized, flexible and able to cope with change constructively -Bachelor’s degree from four-year College or University; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred -Demonstrates knowledge of market conditions and industry trends
