The Company

About Sulmara

-Early expansion saw their Glasgow HQ relocate in tandem with offices in Aberdeen, Norwich, Houston, Singapore, and Taipei to support global operations. -Typical projects range from seabed mapping and UXO clearance to full-route development for subsea cables and pipelines in offshore wind and energy sectors. -They move into dedicated route-planning services, bundling desktop studies, feasibility, mapping, and hazard mitigation into a single in-house offering. -They charter and retrofit vessels like Ocean Marlin with active-heave cranes and survey systems, demonstrating agile mobilisation for complex campaigns. -The firm balances innovation with scale: combining remote/autonomous vehicles with traditional ship-based surveys, backed by bespoke data processing hubs. -Unusual for a young company, they built Remote Operations Centres in Taiwan to run USVs on client projects, underlining their tech-driven approach.
