Box Truck Driver

Description

Box Truck Drivers are responsible for transporting orders safely and on time using a company vehicle, meeting daily delivery schedules while delivering friendly, professional service. When delivery volume slows, drivers can assist in the yard to ensure they meet weekly hour goals.

• Transport orders to customers safely and on schedule using a company box truck.
• Meet daily delivery schedules while providing friendly, professional customer service.
• Assist in the yard during slower periods to achieve weekly hour targets.

Requirements

• Prior delivery experience with large items such as building materials, furniture, or appliances.
• Clean driving record; may require a chauffeur, Class C or D license depending on state.
• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment (preferred).
• Ability to work well in a team.
