Assistant Project Manager

Description

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Assistant Project Manager to support construction project delivery from pre‑construction through completion. The role provides critical support to Project Managers by coordinating field operations, managing documentation, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time and within budget.

• Assist with all project management activities.
• Maintain project reporting, records and documentation.
• Support construction, scheduling, commercial, procurement, risk, health and safety tasks.
• Manage procurement processes including pre‑qualification, tendering and evaluation.
• Participate in contracts and scope management.
• Track material and equipment orders and delivery status.
• Review progress billings, reports and change orders.
• Prepare documents for upload to project control platforms.
• Manage close‑out documentation and O&M manuals; support QA/QC procedures.

Requirements

• Hold a degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction or equivalent.
• Possess 3–5 years experience in structural development projects and on‑site construction in the region.
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Professional membership (e.g., CIOB) and international safety qualification are advantageous.
