- Observe on‑site roof construction, document activities and compliance.
- Complete accurate daily field reports.
- Conduct roof condition surveys and component sampling with analysis.
- Perform nondestructive roof moisture surveys using infrared thermography and nuclear density gauges.
- Operate relevant equipment independently.
- Design roofing systems, including field reconnaissance, notes, sketches, specifications, and estimates under senior guidance.
- Prepare construction drawings in AutoCAD and specifications using Microsoft Office.
- Evaluate tasks and recommend corrective actions to design engineers or project managers.
- Produce construction drawings and documents using AutoCAD.
- Prepare construction specifications.
- Interact with clients to understand their needs.
- Manage multiple projects within budgets and deadlines.
- Perform field duties during non‑standard hours, including weekends and adverse weather conditions.
- Lift/carry equipment up to 50 lb and work on elevated platforms after training.

- Hold vocational courses or an Associate degree; Bachelor's in Architecture, Construction Technology, or related engineering preferred.
- 3–5 years of building enclosure or construction industry experience.
- Knowledge of basic roofing, engineering, and office operations.
- Ability to work on construction sites and read construction drawings/documents.
- Strong written and oral communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
- Excellent time management, multitasking, and organizational abilities.
- Accurate, dependable, and detail‑oriented.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for field work.
- Quarterly career planning meetings and clear career roadmaps.
