The Project Controls Coordinator supports the project team by establishing and maintaining accurate project data throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities include setting up initial project information, administering key documentation, and ensuring seamless integration between teams and internal systems.
- Track and report key project data; document and process real‑time updates for change management.
- Set up initial project data, including tracking components, work packages, budgets and document templates in enterprise systems.
- Configure and provide access to tools and platforms for project teams.
- Maintain and update project documentation such as submittals, RFIs, change orders and meeting minutes.
- Foster professional relationships with internal teams, subcontractors, vendors and clients.
- Assist with project modeling coordination, digital record drawing updates and closeout documentation.
- Participate in periodic data reviews to ensure alignment with cost‑control manuals and project objectives.
- Support clear communication of project data and manage meeting documentation and administrative follow‑up.
- Provide accurate logs and reporting support for budgeting, forecasting and schedule tracking.
- Ensure execution of Project Management Plans by capturing and organizing data accurately.
- Occasionally stoop, kneel, bend; lift/push/pull objects up to 50 lb.

The role requires strong data‑management skills, advanced Excel functions, proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, and a four‑year degree in engineering, construction, finance/accounting or a related field (preferred). Candidates must be motivated self‑starters with good communication, responsibility and the ability to follow safety standards.
Physical demands include occasional stooping, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lb, frequent use of hands and technology, and the ability to sit, stand or walk for the duration of a shift while complying with safety procedures. The position is classified as non‑safety‑sensitive and Sundt is an equal‑opportunity employer.
- Strong data‑management skills, including import/export, advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, pivots, formulas, charts) and PowerPoint.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Four‑year degree in engineering, construction, finance/accounting or related field (preferred).
- Ability to assume responsibility, communicate effectively and work independently as a motivated self‑starter.
- Commitment to safety standards and ability to perform physical tasks such as occasional lifting (up to 50 lb), stooping, kneeling and frequent use of hands and technology.
- Frequent use of hands, telephone, computer and email for communication.
- Ability to sit, stand or walk for extended periods during shift while adhering to safety procedures.
