CAD / Revit Technician

As a Revit Technician, you’ll play a critical role in transforming point cloud data into high-quality Revit models and as built documents.

• Preparing and quality-checking Revit models, drawings, and deliverables.
• Support Development of Top Brands: Opportunity to work behind the scenes supporting efforts for industry leaders like McDonald’s, Starbucks, and 7-Eleven.
• Champion Key Initiatives: Play a vital role in driving Sevan-wide initiatives like Safety and Sustainability, ensuring positive impacts for our people and the planet.
• Collaborating with project teams to ensure consistent application of BIM standards and workflows.
• Maintaining accuracy, precision, and attention to detail in all deliverables.
• Converting point cloud survey data into accurate existing condition drawings and 3D models in Revit.
• Set the Standard: Be a role model for professional behavior, fostering a workplace culture that motivates and inspires others.
• Preparing clear reports, drawing documentation, and digital project files.
• Documenting key building systems, including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing.
• Supporting other production-related tasks as assigned.

CAD / Revit Technician

• Strong knowledge of commercial building design standards, methods, and materials.
• Knowledge of point cloud data workflows (Recap, Cyclone, or similar software).
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines independently in a remote environment.
• 4-year degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality production work without direct oversight.
• 2+ years of experience creating building drawings and construction layouts using Revit (AutoCAD experience a plus).
• Requires reliability and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Knowledge of ADA standards is preferred.
• Ability to commute and work 3x per week in our Downers Grove, IL office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly proficient with computers, cloud storage systems, Microsoft Office applications, and video conferencing tools.

The anticipated compensation range for the position is $24 - $29/hr, is based on a full-time schedule, market and business conditions, and is commensurate on individual education, qualifications, and experience. This is a contract-to-hire position with benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurances, flexible paid time off, paid holidays, sick time, and a matching 401K plan.

This is a full-time, temporary position based in our Downers Grove, IL office through the end of 2025, with the possibility of extension into the new year. The position includes medical, health, and vision benefits, 401K + match, and sick time.
