Description

Load, unload and identify tools and equipment and distribute them to the appropriate locations within the warehouse
Complete outgoing and incoming inspections of equipment
Responsible for general housekeeping in the warehouse, storage yard and external yard/shop
Pick orders as required through Tool Request Forms, or walk-in and phone-in requests

Knowledge of safe operation of basic hand and power tools
Valid Class 5 Drivers License and clean drivers abstract is required
Experience in operation of larger vehicles and securing loads is an asset
Knowledge and use of tools, equipment and materials such as jack hammers, drills, pumps, compressors, and power tools
Able to operate required trucks and equipment in a safe and responsible manner
Knowledge of workplace safety, and safe lifting and handling procedures
Familiar with driving in the city
Requires ability to climb ladders and lift heavy objects
