Work is typically performed in a comfortable indoor area, though there may be regular exposure to mild physical discomfort from dust, fumes, temperature extremes, loud noise, drafts, or bright lights. Most time is spent sitting or standing in the same location, with occasional stooping or lifting of light material (under 8 pounds). The position may require overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Technical certification or an associate degree may be required, and candidates typically have 5‑7 years of experience in a related field.
