Lead - Managing Director's Office

Description

• Identify operational bottlenecks and propose interventions that improve execution and organizational alignment.
• Develop high-quality briefs, presentations, and strategic communication for the Managing Director’s internal and external engagements.
• Drive initiatives that enhance leadership communication, employee engagement, and cultural renewal.
• Drive cross-functional initiatives and transformation projects that advance GAVL’s growth, value, and potential.
• Manage the rhythm, governance, and efficiency of the Managing Director’s Office.
• Coordinate leadership reviews, strategic dashboards, and progress tracking across businesses and corporate functions.
• Drive leadership meeting cadences, including agenda design, content preparation, and action follow-up.
• Caregiver travel for primary caregivers to bring a caregiver and children under a year old, on work travel
• Maintain strong working relationships with business heads, function leaders, and external stakeholders.
• Synthesize complex issues into crisp analyses, insights, and decision-support materials.
• Represent the MD’s office in relevant forums when delegated, ensuring continuity and follow-through on key initiatives.
• Partner with the Head of Strategy to translate the Managing Director’s priorities into clear business actions and measurable outcomes.
• Support the Head of Strategy in preparing reports, updates, and presentations for the Board and Group leadership.
• Ensure decision readiness for the MD — providing data-driven insights, context, and recommendations.
• Champion GAVL’s transformation agenda — embedding agility, accountability, and collaboration across teams.

Requirements

• Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills.
• Strong program management discipline and bias for action.
• Proven experience in managing senior stakeholder relationships and cross-functional programs.
• Strong strategic and analytical thinking; ability to simplify complexity.
• High ownership, discretion, and sound judgment.
• Proven ability to work effectively across functions and influence without authority.
• 8–14 years of experience in strategy, business transformation, consulting, or leadership enablement roles within large diversified organizations.
• Familiarity with agribusiness, FMCG, or allied sectors will be advantageous.
