  • Prepare invoices
  • Track department budget, revenue, forecasts, and financial performance
  • Travel to various job sites in a company provided vehicle as needed
  • Set goals for the residential group and develop staff skills through training initiatives
  • The physical demands of the job may include occasional standing, walking, bending, and lifting ofoffice materials up to 15 pounds.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of residential, commercial and industrial projects and services
  • Attend project meetings and troubleshoot problems in the field
  • Review daily field reports from a technical oversight
  • Approve weekly timesheets and department expense reports
  • Perform technical review of proposals, reports, and calculations
  • The role involves regular communication with team members, clients, and stakeholders, both inperson and through virtual platforms.
  • The position may involve sitting for extended periods, performing data entry, and engaging infrequent communication via email, phone, and in-person interactions.
  • Ensure projects adhere to engineering best practices, safety standards, and quality control procedures
  • Lead a team of project managers and code compliance inspectors
  • Assist senior staff with business development efforts through community involvement and client

  • 6+ years of residential or related code compliance experience
  • Frequent use of fingers, hands and arms for typing, cellphone
  • Preferred: Fully licensed Inspector within the State of Florida (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Building)
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to evaluate “Request for Proposals,” attend site meetings or converse with potential clients to
  • Required: Licensed Building Official with the State Of Florida (CBO)
  • Strong technical knowledge of safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural
  • Highly self-motivated, self-directed and attentive to detail
  • Experience in overseeing code compliance inspections
  • Ability to work and interact with hands-on level to interactions with senior management
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move/shake up to 40lbs. (soil and/or concrete tests and relatedapparatus); frequently lift and/or move up to 60lbs. (soil and sand samples, and nuclear densityequipment); and occasionally move more than 100lbs. (such as a loaded wheelbarrow of concretesamples)
  • Proactive problem solver
  • Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language
  • Strong leadership skills; strong and proven work ethic
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Operational and project management experience
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time as well as drive long distances
  • Occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions such as precipitation, extreme cold or heat, dusty andnoisy work environments.
  • Experience with budgets, forecasts, and financial management.
