As a Project Controls Analyst, you will act as the trusted financial resource for construction projects, linking operations with corporate finance. You will handle financial reporting, compliance, and processing for projects ranging from $1 million to $100 million in contract value.
You will report directly to the lead Project Controls Manager and collaborate closely with the project team and trade partners to ensure accurate accounting and smooth project execution.
The position involves primarily desk work with occasional travel to active construction sites, requiring the ability to lift up to 25 pounds and to follow Clark Construction’s safety policies in varied environments.
- Compile owner requisitions and resolve internal audit findings.
- Process subcontractor requisitions and accounts payable.
- Purchase consumable materials and monitor equipment inventory.
- Manage field payroll and assist with project setup and closeout.
- Review owner contracts and ensure readiness for project initiation.
- Track small business reporting and provide monthly financial forecasts.
- Analyze and interpret monthly cost reports and monitor KPIs.
- Forecast and monitor project cash flow and change order reconciliation.
- Support contract administration, procurement, scheduling, and financial reporting.
- Facilitate project meetings to coordinate work activities.
- Lead, train, and develop project team members.
- Prepare and submit monthly job status reports highlighting priorities and issues.
- Support project close‑out, including turnover of manuals, warranties, and final subcontractor payments.
- Develop and maintain relationships with owners, engineers, and design firms.
- Establish deadlines, monitor progress, and provide leadership for inclusion and diversity.

A preferred background includes a degree in Construction Management, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or equivalent experience, strong oral and written communication, meticulous attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with SAP, Textura, Coupa, or Google platforms and strong quantitative, analytical, and problem‑solving skills are advantageous.
You will thrive in a high‑performance, fast‑paced setting, ready to work extended hours during critical phases, remain responsive to time‑sensitive issues, and contribute to a culture of resilience and accountability.
