Review and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and other project documents to identify scope, materials, and labor requirements.
Participate in team collaboration and development, enhancing the potential growth for both individual team members and the entire estimating department.
Prepare detailed cost estimates for interior construction projects, including tenant fit-outs, and renovations, all ranging in region, size and complexity.
Attend client meetings, engage with and resolve issues regarding pricing and/or estimates, participate in value engineering exercises as needed, obtaining client approval and signoff.
Manage project kickoff and closeout meetings to ensure a smooth transition of information across the estimating, engineering, accounting, and operations teams.
Manage the estimating process on assigned projects totaling $1M - $100M per year.
Maintain engagement from bid phase through project completion for RFIs, change management, ticket pricing and subcontract execution.
Complete bid review and descope, ensuring conformance to project specifications, code requirements, material quality, project schedule, site logistics, insurance, and related items.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with clients, subcontractors, architects, engineers and team members alike.
Analyze project risks and opportunities, providing value engineering suggestions when appropriate. Identify items that have been omitted and ensure a complete estimate is provided to the client, enabling them to meet their financial objectives.
Compile thorough analysis sheets for subcontractor review during the level bid process.

Possess the ability to perform and review detailed budgets through the evolution of the design documents, inclusive of architectural, structural, and MEPS trades.
