Description

The Business Process Owner is accountable for optimizing and integrating operational data processes, acting as the key liaison between data management teams, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure accuracy and consistency across the organization. The role involves continuous process improvement, data governance, and stakeholder collaboration to drive efficiency and quality.

• Continuously improve business processes to enhance efficiency and quality
• Monitor and resolve process blockers and data workflow issues
• Collaborate with Data Governance to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance
• Define, develop, and document operational data processes, standards, and best practices
• Drive implementation of data quality controls and manage remediation of audits
• Serve as primary liaison among Data Governance, IT partners, analysts, and business units
• Align data initiatives with organizational goals through cross‑functional collaboration
• Provide training and support on data processes to end users

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Management, Information Systems or related field
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in data management, process improvement or similar role
• Experience in manufacturing environments and LOG function business process ownership
• Proven track record of driving process improvements and data quality initiatives
• Hands‑on experience with SAP ERP systems
• Project management experience (highly desirable)

Benefits

The position offers an annual salary ranging from $100,500 to $125,600, depending on experience and qualifications. Based in Oakville, Ontario, the Business Process Owner, LOG will report to the Director of USA Logistics & NA Transportation.
