Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Recognised qualifications in both disciplines (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
Basic IT skills to input maintenance data and complete work records accurately.
Work safely and confidently in confined spaces, following all relevant health and safety procedures.
Proven experience in electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repair within an industrial or utilities environment, alongside competency in a secondary discipline such as mechanical, instrumentation, or control systems.
A strong awareness of health, safety, and environmental standards, with the ability to work safely in high-risk environments.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and maintenance documentation.
Willingness and capability to develop mechanical skills if not already multi-skilled-training will be provided.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with colleagues, contractors, and other stakeholders.
