You will engage regularly with C-suite decision makers and senior clients, understanding their needs and portraying how our evolving offerings, including EV infrastructure, traffic signals, and jointing works can fill the gaps and add real value. Your insights and strategic thinking will shape how we position ourselves in this competitive market.

  • Collaborating closely with senior management and project teams to ensure business objectives align with customer needs.
  • Reporting directly to the Director of Highways Electrical and being a core part of the Senior Management Team.
  • Developing and nurturing strategic relationships with potential customers across local authorities, housing developers, and infrastructure partners.
  • Identifying and pursuing TMC opportunities and new market sectors aligned with our growth plans.
  • Acting as the visible face of the business at a senior level, representing Enerveo with professionalism and credibility.

Base Location: Remote in UK , with travel to Clients and customers required

We’re seeking a Business Development Manager with deep industry knowledge and a strategic mindset to help expand our presence within Term Maintenance Contracts (TMC) and beyond. This role is not about quick sales wins, it’s about building lasting relationships at a senior level with developers, local authorities, housing developers, and other key stakeholders.

We are looking for someone who enjoys building long term partnerships to deliver mutual successes and wants to be a core part of shaping the future of the Enerveo Highways Electrical business. We are also looking for you to bring;

  • Self-motivated individual contributor, comfortable working independently without direct reports.
  • A strong network and ability to build lasting relationships with senior stakeholders and C-suite executives.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify gaps in the market and present solutions that deliver value.
  • Knowledge of Term Maintenance Contracts and emerging market opportunities such as EV infrastructure and traffic signals.
  • We do need you to have a full UK Driving Licence as we cover a wide range of locations
  • Proven experience in business development within the highways electrical or related infrastructure sectors.
  • Experience working with local authorities

Benefits

Salary: £65-£80k depending on skills and experience. Car Allowance and annual bonus , plus a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.
