The role focuses on hiring Software Developers, Data Scientists/Engineers, Cloud & DevOps Engineers, Product & Platform roles, and Technical Project Managers, ensuring strong technical assessment, high-quality pipeline creation, and fast closures.
With BhoomiSure, SwanSAT redefines crop and disaster insurance using automated claim triggers and satellite-driven risk assessments, ensuring timely and transparent payouts.
The Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist will lead the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for all technology and engineering roles across SwanSat’s business verticals — SwanSat (Geospatial Intelligence), KhetPe (AgTech), and BhoomiSure (InsurTech).
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline for recurring roles such as Full Stack, Backend, DevOps, Data Science, Cloud, QA Automation, Mobile, GIS Engineers, and AgriTech specialists.
- Conduct initial technical competency assessment based on role-specific skills (Java, Python, React, DevOps, Cloud, Geospatial tools, ML stack, etc.).
- Work closely with CTO, Engineering Managers, Product Heads, and business leaders to understand technical requirements and define role expectations.
- Partner with engineering, product, and platform leaders to forecast talent needs.
- Work with HR Ops to ensure seamless onboarding for technical hires.
- Enhance employer branding through:
- Coordinate interviews with technical panels, ensure timely feedback loops, and drive high interview-to-offer conversion rates.
- Own the complete recruitment process for software, data, cloud, and product roles — sourcing → screening → technical evaluation coordination → offer negotiation → closure.
- Ensure accurate documentation, ATS updates, and compliance with hiring guidelines.
- Drive continuous optimization based on hiring analytics.
- Represent SwanSat in tech hiring events, hackathons, and college recruitment drives for technical talent.
- Create recruitment plans for critical, niche, or high-priority roles (e.g., Platform Head, Full Stack Developer, Data Science roles).
- Provide insights on tech hiring trends, market intelligence, and competitor benchmarking.
- Improve hiring processes to reduce time-to-fill for critical engineering positions.

The ideal candidate must be hands-on with sourcing, technically conversant, capable of driving hiring discussions with Engineering Heads, and experienced in recruiting within fast-paced tech or start-up ecosystems.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable engaging in technical discussions.
- GIS/Remote Sensing/Geospatial Engineers (preferred but not mandatory)
- 2–3 years of experience in technical recruitment (startup, tech, IT services, product companies preferred).
- Must have hired for at least 5–7 of the following roles:
- Strong communication skills (English & Hindi; Marathi preferred).
- Boolean search, X-ray search, social sourcing, communities, and forums
- LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, StackOverflow, Naukri, Indeed
- Resilient, adaptable, and proactive in solving hiring challenges.
- Strong understanding of tech stacks — Python, Java, JS frameworks, DevOps tools, cloud stack (AWS/GCP/Azure), data stack, etc.
- QA Automation
- Ability to handle multiple critical roles in a fast-paced environment.
- High ownership and urgency for critical technical closures.
- Excellent in sourcing, screening, technical assessments, and coordinating with engineering teams.
- Proficient in LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, ATS systems, GitHub sourcing.
