The successful candidate will support overall project development in growth areas of the Digital Design domain, including 1D modelling and RFQ activities. They will generate tangible outcomes for assigned projects and produce literature studies and use cases in exploratory areas that involve advanced AI/ML techniques.
The role requires a basic understanding of physics and mechanical‑engineering concepts such as structural, thermal and flow analysis, as well as foundational knowledge of AI/ML technologies and tools. Familiarity with CAD platforms (AutoCAD, Creo, CATIA, NX, SolidWorks) and analysis software (ANSYS, MATLAB/Simulink) along with programming skills in Python, MATLAB, VBA or C is preferred, especially advanced ML modelling methods.
Candidates should hold an M.Tech in Mechanical, Aerospace or Computer Science, or a B.Tech in Mechanical, and possess at least three years of relevant experience.
The position demands strong collaboration skills, including the ability to work with diverse, multicultural and geographically dispersed teams, and to coordinate across development, product management and project management groups. The associate engineer will present to engineering and business leadership globally, engage in internal open‑innovation events, and adopt internal systems and processes while working with the global digital design team.
