Maintenance Technician (PT) - Carrollton Heights - Limestone, NY

Description

• Respond to maintenance service requests (drywall, painting, carpentry, HVAC, appliances) promptly
• Perform on‑call duties and work non‑traditional schedules for events, weekends, and holidays
• Ready vacant units for rent by completing repairs and updating work order status
• Repair plumbing fixtures, hot water tanks, garbage disposals, dishwashers, and related appliances
• Conduct grounds upkeep: trash removal, sweeping, pressure washing, dumpster area maintenance, landscaping
• Follow OSHA safety standards and company guidelines, reporting any issues immediately
• Handle confidential resident information responsibly

Requirements

The ideal candidate has at least a high school diploma or vocational training, preferably one year of maintenance experience, and may hold HVAC, electrical, or plumbing certifications. Strong problem‑solving, communication, and organizational skills are required, along with a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to work flexible hours and on‑call shifts.
