  • Planning and reviewing the tasks to be carried out according to pre-established production plan and manufacturing standards.
  • Conducts quality inspections and documents the process to ensure compliance with technical standards
  • Assists in developing and maintaining technical instructions for instrument control assembly and connection procedures
  • Assembles transformer instrument control panels, performs necessary connections, and handles programming and calibration for operational readiness
  • Responsible to fulfill and/or to support to fulfill all protocols, policies, guidelines, and competences coming from all current system [EHS, QA, CyberSec, etc.].
  • Training and mentoring of new hires into department.

  • Successful applicants must be able to pass standard hearing, vision, and pulmonary function tests.
  • Applicant must be able to obtain and maintain certification for working in heights
  • Applicant must be able to obtain Keys certification test on reading and writing and Blueprint reading test offered by local community colleges.
  • High school degree or equivalent with relevant technical training/experience.
  • At least 1 years of experience in instrument controls connection and assembly.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
  • Must also be able to read, write, understand, and follow verbal and/or written instructions in English.
  • Ability to use math, read and interpret complex drawings.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Must be willing to relocate temporarily to Mexico, Brazil or Germany for on-the-job training for a period of 3 months based on the proficiency in the area of training. Appropriate relocation support and compensation will be provided.
