Fleet Foreman

Description

• Maintain company vehicles, equipment and tools in good working order.
• Assist with trouble shooting problems.
• Conduct safety audits and meetings.
• Cover a large area with multiple field mechanics.
• Supervise and work alongside field mechanics.
• Comply with Company reporting procedures and completion of required paperwork.

Requirements

• Willing to work overtime when requested.
• Able to lift in excess of 50 lbs.
• Willing to work outside of the normal work schedule including weekends, holidays, and overtime as required for the position.
• Must be able to follow Company safety rules and all other Company policies.
• Able to travel long distances on short notice, including overnight stay in some areas.
• Must possess a CDL license and demonstrate safe driving.
• Possess a working knowledge of repairs on all types of utility equipment.
• Must be able to work outside, frequently in inclement weather.
• Possess working knowledge of leadership and management skills.
• Able to perform rigorous physical labor.
• Capable of leading and training lower skilled employees in safe and productive work procedures.
• Possess a working knowledge of laptop computers and diagnostic software.
