In this position, you will support the ReStore Manager in achieving operational excellence. This role involves leading a high‑performing team, meeting merchandising standards, and ensuring a safe and positive workplace. You will be an integral part of our mission to provide affordable housing solutions.
Operational Excellence: You will drive inventory, sales, and profits while collaborating with the ReStore Manager to meet budgetary goals, maintain facilities, and ensure safety and satisfaction of customers, donors, and volunteers. Customer and Community Engagement: You will deliver outstanding service, communicate our mission, and develop our social media presence and online store. Team Leadership: You will train and lead staff in pricing, safety policies, and customer service, assess performance, and address policy violations. Finance and Administration: You will enforce cash control policies and maintain accurate accounting records. Donation Processing and Inventory Management: You will oversee donation processing, manage inventory, and collaborate with volunteers and associates to keep a seamless flow of donated goods to the sales floor.

A minimum of two years of responsible leadership experience, directing successful teams and meeting objectives is required. Certified forklift operator or trainer is preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are needed both internally and externally. Ability to travel for training or support of existing or future ReStores within Bucks County is essential. Demonstrated ability to train, manage, lead, and develop associates in a consistent, positive, safety‑conscious manner, along with basic computer skills, is required. Candidates must have a history of adapting to rapidly changing conditions and unexpected shifts in priorities.
The position reports to the ReStore Manager and requires compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, including the ability to sit, walk, stand for extended periods, and use all senses. The role involves physical tasks such as lifting 50‑80 lb occasionally and working in warehouse, box truck, storage area, shop, and outdoor environments that may not be temperature‑controlled. A background check, physical exam, and drug screening must be passed.
