Operate the tank truck/trailer or tractor/trailer to transport products safely, efficiently, and professionally, adhering to all relevant federal, state, and local laws.
Strictly follow all safety protocols and operating procedures, including adherence to DOT regulations.
Check the tank truck/trailer or tractor/trailer for general operating conditions, ensuring that all necessary equipment is present and in good working order.
Follow site-specific standard operating procedures for both loading and offloading processes.
Report any incidents, including safety and environmental concerns, in line with company procedures.
Make sure equipment is prepared for the next shift.
Timely report any equipment issues as they arise.
Conduct pre-trip inspections on equipment in accordance with policy and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
Document any findings or deficiencies on the pre-trip inspection form.
Complete post-trip inspections on equipment as per site policy and DOT regulations, ensuring all required paperwork is completed.
