Description

• Operate the tank truck/trailer or tractor/trailer to transport products safely, efficiently, and professionally, adhering to all relevant federal, state, and local laws.
• Strictly follow all safety protocols and operating procedures, including adherence to DOT regulations.
• Check the tank truck/trailer or tractor/trailer for general operating conditions, ensuring that all necessary equipment is present and in good working order.
• Follow site-specific standard operating procedures for both loading and offloading processes.
• Report any incidents, including safety and environmental concerns, in line with company procedures.
• Make sure equipment is prepared for the next shift.
• Timely report any equipment issues as they arise.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections on equipment in accordance with policy and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
• Document any findings or deficiencies on the pre-trip inspection form.
• Complete post-trip inspections on equipment as per site policy and DOT regulations, ensuring all required paperwork is completed.
