We are looking for a CAD Technician within our drainage team. You will play a key role in supporting infrastructure projects for the Rail Infrastructure. Your primary responsibility will be to produce accurate and detailed drainage asset drawings based on CCTV survey data, topographical inputs, and site investigations. You will work closely with engineers, surveyors, and project managers to ensure that all drawings meet client specifications and industry standards.

  • Maintain drawing standards and naming conventions aligned with project protocols.
  • Interpret CCTV survey footage and manhole card data to map drainage networks.
  • Collaborate with engineers and survey teams to ensure drawing accuracy.
  • Produce and update drainage asset drawings using AutoCAD.
  • Create site layout drawings showing pipe connectivity, invert levels, and defects.

  • AutoCAD – 2D drafting, layer management, block creation and annotation.
  • General IT literacy in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • MicroStation – Familiarity with Bentley Workflows and file formats.
  • Basic understanding of drainage infrastructure, including manholes, catchpits, and invert levels.
