Ensure all work on the data center floor is performed in accordance with Change Management guidelines.
Ensure all power cabling is installed and labeled correctly according to documented standards.
Complete normal work orders and preventive maintenance tasks (PMs).
Assist with vendor PMs on critical equipment, including UPS units, ATS switches, and chillers.
Update and maintain an inventory of spare parts.
Keep all mechanical and electrical rooms clean and orderly.
Track and document all circuits and power bars.
Perform all plumbing, electrical, and HVAC requirements of the building(s).
Maintain equipment standards lists to keep them current.
Monitor contractors working on the raised floor, ensuring they have a valid change ticket and understand their scope of work.
Escort contractors requiring access to the raised floor and check on them at least every 30 minutes.
Maintain heating equipment, chillers (air- and/or water-cooled), DX units, pumps, cooling towers, fan coil units, VAV systems, and air distribution systems.
Test-run generators during scheduled run times.
Log all issues in the daily logbook, noting whether they are completed or outstanding.
Perform regular building checks for maintenance issues (lights, restrooms, general repairs).
Install data center components, including cabinets, equipment, shelves, power bars, and cable managers.
Update all required documentation in a timely manner according to ISO 9001 standards.
Keep all floor tiles properly seated and perform repairs as needed.
Maintain all data center cabinets in proper working order, including doors and any repairs needed by IS or Facilities.

3-5+ years of related work experience in operating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in a commercial property setting
Must have ability to stoop, stand, climb, frequently lift a minimum of 50 lbs. of equipment (pumps, tools, ladders) and safely install rigging/lifting devices
Ability to read and understand information presented orally and in writing
May be required to have certification as a Universal Technician for CFC’s depending on market licensure requirements
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Ability to speak clearly so others can understand you
Experience in operation, maintenance and basic repair of HVAC, boilers, heaters, pumps, refrigerant systems, compressors, water systems, etc.
Regularly required to utilize vision abilities, allowing reading of printed material, drawings, and schematics
