  • Carry out setting out and supervise daily site activities to meet programme, budget, and quality targets.
  • Coordinate with QA/QC teams to schedule inspections and witness testing.
  • Identify and resolve technical or quality-related issues in line with project requirements.
  • Ensure all works are completed in compliance with HSE regulations and method statements.
  • Prepare, review, and implement Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) for all site activities, ensuring strict compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, testing, and site progress.
  • Liaise with consultants, clients, and subcontractors on approvals, inspections, and quality requirements.

We are working with a leading contractor delivering a long-term clean water infrastructure project in South East London. They are looking for a skilled Site Engineer with proven experience in Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and Quality Assurance to strengthen their site delivery team.

  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
  • Sound knowledge of construction standards, codes, and specifications.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with project management or QA software advantageous.
  • 3–5 years’ experience as a Site Engineer within construction or infrastructure.
  • Strong background in ITP preparation and QA/QC coordination.
  • Strong understanding of quality control and inspection processes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • HND or Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Proficient in interpreting drawings and technical documentation.
