The Junior Engineer will support and sometimes lead design engineering on a variety of infrastructure projects, such as rail and vehicular tunnels and water‑treatment facilities in the U.S. and Canada. Duties include energy‑system modelling, lighting design with AGI32 and ElumTools, preparing and checking AutoCAD, Bentley MicroStation and Revit drawings, conducting field inspections, producing inspection reports, and developing Bills of Quantities and costing documents.
Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in electrical power systems and renewable‑energy design and either a Professional Engineer license (or be pursuing FE/EIT) in New Jersey, New York or Massachusetts. They need at least three years of experience in transit lighting design, low‑voltage substation design, site surveys, use of photometric simulation tools, Autodesk and Microsoft Office suites, and applying NFPA, OSHA, NESC and IESNA codes; familiarity with SCADA, SKM/ETAP and an NCTI certification is preferred.
