The Marketing Coordinator (Content & Proposals) at Toth and Associates focuses on high-quality content development and proposal support within an engineering consulting environment, writing, editing, and organizing marketing and proposal materials that convey complex technical services to clients and stakeholders.
- Research, write, and edit content for proposals, SOQs, project profiles, case studies, service descriptions, website pages, reports, and white papers.
- Translate technical input from engineers and project managers into clear, client‑focused language.
- Maintain and improve a central content library of narratives, project descriptions, resumes, and boilerplate materials.
- Support the full proposal lifecycle, including pre‑RFP positioning, go/no‑go decisions, content development, editing, and final review.
- Collect information, develop win themes, and tailor content to specific RFP requirements and client goals.
- Coordinate layout, graphics, schedule, and production with other Marketing Coordinators to deliver compliant submittals on time.
- Assemble, proofread, and perform final quality checks for proposals, SOQs, and related materials.
- Assist in creating marketing collateral such as service flyers, capability statements, brochures, and presentations with clear messaging.
- Develop content for email campaigns, social media, digital ads, and conference materials.
- Organize service and project information into user‑friendly one‑pagers, summaries, and visual aids.
- Contribute content for social media, newsletters, blogs, and other platforms, ensuring a consistent brand voice.
- Maintain website content, including project write‑ups, news posts, and service pages.
- Support internal communications such as staff announcements and internal newsletters.
- Partner with the Director of Marketing to align content and proposals with business development strategies.
- Gather technical information, verify accuracy, and shape messaging with subject‑matter experts.
- Track and report marketing and proposal activities; maintain CRM records and content usage data.
- Uphold strict confidentiality of sensitive information.

Ideal candidates have 3-7 years of experience in content creation and proposal development, preferably in the architecture, engineering, construction (A/E/C) sector, and will work closely with the Director of Marketing, other coordinators, project managers, and technical staff to craft consistent, compelling narratives across proposals, project profiles, reports, and other marketing assets.
- 3-7 years of professional experience in marketing content creation, communications, or technical writing.
- Proven proposal development experience (RFP/RFQ, SOQs) in A/E/C or related technical services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Technical Writing, or related field.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills; ability to adapt tone for diverse audiences.
- Strong ability to translate complex technical information into clear client‑focused language.
- Excellent organizational skills managing multiple deadlines and stakeholders in a fast‑paced environment.
- Familiarity with proposal workflows, compliance processes, and RFP requirements.
- Knowledge of marketing platforms and best practices for social, digital, and email campaigns.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Adobe Creative Suite a plus for layout collaboration.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; effective collaboration with technical staff.
- Self‑starter who can prioritize tasks, move projects forward independently, and meet strict deadlines.
