Civil Engineering Manager - Land Development

Description

• Set short- and long-term goals and monitor progress within the annual business plan
• Manage project scope, schedule, technical requirements, contracts, client communication, staffing, and budget throughout the project lifecycle
• Lead and mentor civil engineering land‑development teams
• Assess staffing needs, recruit, and retain qualified personnel
• Build and maintain client and stakeholder relationships
• Oversee JT’s Quality Assurance processes on all projects
• Research applicable federal, state, and local regulations for each project

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including several years leading projects
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Wisconsin or ability to obtain one
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Permanent legal authorization to work in the United States (no sponsorship required)
• Willingness to travel out‑of‑town and overnight as needed
