Effective analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate conflicting requirements and deliver actionable solutions in high-pressure environments.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with Project stakeholders.
Degree qualified in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Finance, Risk Management engineering, or Project Management) or equivalent qualifications (e.g. MoR or PMI-RMP)/experience.
Commitment to continuous improvement, with an understanding of how to recognise lessons learned and best practices in relation to risk management processes.
Awareness of Power BI, with an understanding of the integration risk data into project-level dashboards and reports.
Awareness of risk management within NEC3/NEC4 Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC) frameworks, ideally in large-scale Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects. Experience in IT systems including MS Office Suite and an awareness of advanced risk management software (e.g., Safran Risk, Primavera Risk Analysis, or equivalent).
Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to ask questions, challenge, and drive decision-making at all levels of the organization.
Awareness of industry-standard tools and systems, including Safran Risk, Microsoft Office, and Document Management Systems.
Awareness of risk management standards, KPIs, and playbooks across project portfolios.
Awareness of Quantitative Risk Analysis (QCRA/QSRA), with understanding of the importance in integrating results into project planning and decision-making.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality reports, dashboards, and presentations tailored for senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
Experience in supporting a Risk Manager in the delivery of risk management within projects.
Demonstrable ability to work independently and collaboratively with project and programme teams.
