The Maintenance Supervisor at Marcella Memorial Heights ensures maintenance support and delivers on commitments to residents, focusing on quality move‑in experiences, resident satisfaction, timely service, and personal attention. The role is central to Cushman & Wakefield’s goal of providing superior customer service.
Key duties include preparing market‑ready apartments through painting, carpet cleaning, repairs and housekeeping; responding promptly to resident service requests; and maintaining grounds, pools, hot tubs, common areas and dog parks in clean, safe condition. The supervisor also performs on‑call emergency procedures, reports budget‑impacting maintenance issues, and schedules preventative maintenance while documenting activities.
The position requires a broad knowledge of maintenance functions such as plumbing, pool upkeep, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, electrical work, painting, caulking, snow removal and life‑safety concerns. The supervisor must stay informed of state, local and federal housing laws, codes, policies and Cushman & Wakefield safety procedures, and attend required training programs.
Work is performed in a professional office setting with regular travel between properties, often in varying weather conditions. Physical demands include standing, walking, climbing stairs or ladders, and lifting up to 100 pounds, with travel up to 10 % of the time.
Candidates must hold a high school diploma, GED or equivalent technical/vocational education, and possess at least three years of related experience. Required certifications include EPA 608 Type II or a comparable CPO certificate, and a valid driver’s license.
The position offers a salary range of $25.50‑$30.00 per hour, health, vision, dental, flexible spending, retirement, life and disability insurance, and paid time off. Compensation varies by location, experience and collective bargaining agreements, but will not be below minimum wage.
