  • Work with the NJ electric and natural gas utilities and other external stakeholders in the refinement of policies and procedures for the commercial energy efficiency programs.
  • Identify and source energy efficiency opportunities through a multifaceted approach, to include outbound sales calls, emails and outreach efforts.
  • Accomplish financial objectives by supporting forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
  • Support performance metrics applicable to each commercial energy efficiency program and in conformance with the overall portfolio.
  • Provide customer service and resolve customer issues that may arise regarding C&I Energy Efficiency Programs.
  • Cultivate and develop new business through building and existing relationships with professional organizations and trade allies.
  • Support daily operations of the C&I Energy Efficiency programs including implementation, contractor coordination, and customer support.
  • Work in support of various utility sponsored programs that encourage energy-efficiency in the commercial and industrial markets.
  • Sell and close commercial projects.
  • Develop and support energy efficiency plan filings, program modifications, annual updates (including cost/benefit studies), and incentive filings.
  • Keep abreast of advances and/or changes in energy efficiency programming in NJ, and elsewhere, in consultation with the Energy Efficiency Program Managers.
  • Support the management of contractor relationships, which will include invoice review, quality enforcement, process implementation and interactions with Engineering firms under contract for larger commercial projects.
  • Support work management processes and procedures, budgets and other department performance goals.
  • Represent the Company in meetings regarding energy efficiency programs and services.
  • Provide oversight, coordination, and technical guidance to commercial and multifamily energy efficiency team members.
  • Address escalated commercial customer inquiries.
  • Responsible for commercial program deliverables, energy savings and financial goals.
  • Coordinate with Marketing to promote energy efficiency programs via advertising and public outreach events.
