The Maintenance Lead will oversee the maintenance department, manage competing priorities and deadlines, and schedule and complete preventative maintenance programs and special projects. They will collaborate with the property manager on budget and projects, perform repairs across electrical, plumbing, pool, masonry, carpentry, painting, building exteriors, and appliances, prepare vacant units, handle work orders, maintain grounds, and be responsible for 24‑hour emergency maintenance.
Candidates must have at least three years of multifamily housing maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, an EPA Universal HVAC license, and a Certified Pool Operator credential (pool maintenance experience is essential). The role also requires the ability to work on‑call, evenings, and rotating weekends, experience at a tax‑credit property is a plus, and successful completion of a background check, drug test, and possession of a smart phone.
Compensation is $30‑32 per hour, negotiable based on experience, with monthly renewal commissions and bonus opportunities. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision packages, company‑paid life insurance, 401(k), paid holidays and vacation time, and rent discount options subject to eligibility.
