The role involves locating and operating horizontal directional drilling equipment, collaborating with drill locators, ensuring public and utility safety, reading utility locates, coordinating daylighting, and transporting heavy equipment to and from job sites each day.
Ideal candidates prioritize safety, deliver high‑quality work, and enjoy hands‑on problem solving. Applicants should have at least two years of utility directional drilling experience in urban settings, be proficient with Vermeer or Ditch Witch drills, and be able to read maps, drawings, and diagrams. A valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record and relevant MOS codes are required, and candidates should seek long‑term projects and community impact.
This position offers $27‑$32 per hour plus a comprehensive benefits package.
