Material Specialist III – Maintenance/Shipboard
Kbr, Inc.
Provides engineering, procurement, construction and technology solutions to government and industry worldwide.
Maintains and documents maintenance actions for ground equipment in the Marine Corps Prepositioning Program.
Provides training and guidance to lower level employees.
Records, maintains, and documents maintenance actions, requirements, and equipment repair statuses in accordance with maintenance management policy, publications, programs and procedures.
Utilizes a maintenance information system (GCSS-MC or equivalent system) to perform maintenance administration and analyzes and corrects non-conformities, performs technical research, requisitioning and issue of equipment supplies.
Advises, supports, and assists maintenance personnel to ensure a systematic approach to maintenance operations of ground equipment.

Complete the Computer Operator Course, or equivalent.
Completion of the Basic Marine Corps Integrated Maintenance Management Course or service equivalent training related to Maintenance Administration.
Must possess a working knowledge of maintenance management functional elements/areas, maintenance production functions, and maintenance engineering actions in support of equipment Total Lifecycle Management (TLCM).
Possess a valid State Motor Vehicle Operator License.
This includes troubleshooting and problem solving related to the above functions.
U.S. Citizen.
Complete Combat Service Support Chief Course, or equivalent.
High school graduate or equivalent.
Skills to read, interpret, and correctly respond to information in the form in which it is transmitted through the computer system.
Working knowledge of various computer features and functions.
Four (4) years related experience.
