Electrical Service Technician (Evening & Weekends)

Description

• Customer Engagement - Engage with customers, explaining the issues, solutions, and outcomes clearly, while recommending additional products and services for optimal system performance
• Code Compliance - Ensure all electrical work complies with national electrical codes and state and local building regulations
• Electrical Maintenance - Perform general electrical maintenance, including troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving electrical issues
• Technical Diagnostics & Repairs - Inspect, diagnose, and replace faulty electrical equipment, wiring, or fixtures, ensuring the proper operation of all electrical systems
• Electrical System Installation - Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems in residential properties
• Blueprint Reading - Read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints to accurately install or repair electrical systems
• Safety Standards - Follow safety protocols to ensure all work is performed in a safe manner, protecting both the customer and team members
• Circuit Breakers & Transformers - Inspect and perform corrective maintenance on circuit breakers and transformers to ensure they are functioning safely and efficiently
• Service Titan Software - Track repairs, maintenance, and service calls through Service Titan software, ensuring detailed and accurate documentation

Requirements

• Customer-Focused - Strong communication skills to explain electrical issues and solutions clearly to customers
• Driver’s License - Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Service Software - Experience with Service Titan or similar trade software is a plus
• Physical Requirements - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks related to electrical installations and repairs
• Attention to Detail - Ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and compliance with electrical codes
• Experience - 3+ years of experience as a Residential Electrical Service Technician or a similar role
• Licensing - Valid electrical license, if required by state or local regulations
• Technical Expertise - Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and components, with proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical issues
