Preparing models of crushing and grinding circuits using in-house power based, JK SimMet breakage rate-based programs as well as commercial crusher modelling packages including Bruno and Plant Designer.
Analysing operating data and providing guidance to operations.
Maintaining OMC’s comminution and plant survey databases.
Designing and managing test work programs and interpreting the information in context of its geological descriptions.
Utilising MillROC to facilitate online circuit mass balances and real-time modelling, as well as setting up and monitoring circuit KPI dashboards, trends, and visualisations.
Selecting optimal comminution configuration and deriving appropriate equipment sizes and specifications.

Experience with data visualisation software (PowerBI, Grafana, Tableau) and programming skills (Excel VBA, SQL, Java) will be advantageous.
High attention to detail and problem-solving skill.
High proficiency English written and verbal communication skills.
SAG Milling or HPGR experience.
Qualifications in Extractive Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering.
Ability to operate effectively within a small team of professionals.
Statistical data analysis skills will be an advantage.
2-5 years processing plant experience with specific focus on optimisation and continuous improvement.
Exposure to comminution (design, commissioning and/or operations)
