Environmental Field Technician

Description

• Carry out assignments and duties as directed by Line Management or the Department Head.
• Assist in conducting HSE site surveys, including noise, air quality, terrestrial ecology, and marine ecology surveys.
• Support the operation, calibration, and maintenance of environmental and HSE survey equipment.
• Adhere to HSE standards, procedures, and site safety requirements at all times.
• Collect, consolidate, and validate field data; prepare factual survey notes and contribute to technical reports.
• Assist with environmental administrative tasks and documentation as required.

Requirements

We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented Environmental Field Technician to support HSE site surveys and environmental monitoring activities. The role involves fieldwork, equipment operation, data consolidation, and reporting, as well as administrative support for environmental projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any discipline) with an environmental background, relevant certifications, or a Diploma.
• Hands-on experience with environmental monitoring equipment.
• Ability to work effectively in field conditions and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience as an Environmental Field Technician or in a similar environmental/HSE field role.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong data recording, reporting, and documentation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Environmental Science, Ecology, or a relevant specialty; or
