As an Assistant Project Manager (APM) you will contribute independently to 2‑3 smaller or less complex projects, working under the guidance of a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager. You will oversee deliverables produced by Project Coordinators and ensure each project progresses from initiation to handover.
You will prepare monthly project delivery plans, status reports, cost forecasts and risk registers, while maintaining budgets in line with client requirements. Responsibilities include chairing weekly meetings, drafting agendas and minutes, coordinating vendor RFPs, and managing contract administration for clients, consultants and suppliers.
The role requires implementing JLL’s Health, Safety and Environmental standards, monitoring compliance, and ensuring high‑quality final products that reflect the company positively. You will also manage project close‑out activities such as financial settlement, as‑built documentation, and client training.
You will help grow JLL’s business by developing relationships with other business lines, tracking project revenue, preparing EOIs and pricing submissions, and supporting award nominations. Additionally, you will contribute to the creation of quality templates and process improvements using JLL technology tools.
Leadership expectations include fostering a collaborative environment, setting measurable goals, and embodying JLL’s values of teamwork, ethics, and excellence. You will mentor team members, share knowledge, set stretch targets, and make decisive decisions when needed.
Collaboration with senior team members, consultants, contractors and suppliers is essential to achieve optimal performance and maintain strong client relationships. Accurate and timely reporting on safety, program, resources, budgets and profitability will support successful project delivery.
Key skills include proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Microsoft Project, and cost‑reporting systems, as well as understanding legal, commercial, and ISO14001/45001/9001 compliance requirements. Ability to assess client needs, negotiate with vendors, and prepare project proposals and presentations is also essential.
The ideal candidate holds a degree in Project or Construction Management or possesses eight or more years of relevant experience, including at least three years in design, construction, or project management. This on‑site Singapore role encourages applicants of all backgrounds to apply, and JLL leverages AI to match candidates with opportunities while upholding equal‑opportunity and privacy commitments.
