Operators run production equipment, follow set‑up and preventative‑maintenance procedures, and keep detailed daily reports. They also perform minor repairs, use tools and measuring devices, maintain a clean workspace, and support the Chief in daily operations while adhering to safety policies.

- Follow established guidelines on policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Communicate product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions to relieving operators and shift managers during shift changes.
- Wear personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines.
- Assist the Chief in daily operations and perform all other related duties as assigned.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of experience in automated production or line leadership, a high‑school diploma or GED, and strong communication skills. Basic mechanical/electrical knowledge, flexibility for overtime, and basic computer proficiency (ERP and Microsoft tools) are also valued.
The position demands frequent lifting of up to 50 lb (occasionally 80 lb), constant monitoring of machinery, and the ability to navigate the facility safely while wearing required personal protective equipment. Physical accommodations are considered in compliance with EEO guidelines.
- 3‑4+ years of work experience in an automated production or line leadership position.
- Experience with front‑line people leadership.
- Strong data‑driven core with ability to communicate performance, quality, safety, and process efficiency and inspire shop‑floor employees.
- Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge (a plus).
- Experience in manufacturing concrete and concrete products (preferred).
- Experience with concrete manufacturing equipment such as Masa, Hess, Omag, Columbia, Rekers, Besser (a plus).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to self‑motivate, work autonomously, and proactively.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Availability to work flexible hours and overtime, including nights and weekends.
- Flexibility, adaptability, organizational skills, and professionalism.
- Basic computer skills; knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft tools (a plus).

The Production Machine Operator works the Tuesday‑Friday night shift (5:30 pm‑5:30 am) at the Pen Argyl, PA facility, earning $25 per hour plus a $2 shift differential (or $27 per hour on weekends).
