Leasing Associate - $1,500 Sign-on Bonus

Description

• Respond to telephone and internet inquiries to schedule virtual, self‑guided, and in‑person tours.
• Greet and qualify prospects using Lead Management Software; assist with applications and deposits while adhering to Fair Housing requirements.
• Maintain an updated availability report, process applications with credit checks and rental history verification, then submit for processing.
• Obtain Community Manager approval and follow up with applicants on their status.
• Show apartments, close sales, prepare move‑ins, obtain resident signatures, and provide community orientation.
• Maintain an active social media presence for the property to enhance visibility and engagement.
• Promote resident satisfaction and retention by promptly responding to complaints, questions, and requests.
• Conduct all functions necessary to close sales, including appointments, lead generation, tours, showroom maintenance, and follow‑up.
• Utilize marketing strategies within budget limits, such as competitive rates, referrals, promotions, locators, and outreach.
• Plan and host resident functions (parties, contests, etc.) to secure retention and attend after‑hours events as needed.
• Complete required paperwork for leases, move‑ins, check‑outs, and peak periods promptly.
• Attend weekly and daily goal‑setting meetings as appropriate.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure prompt response to resident service requests.

Requirements

The role requires an associate's degree or equivalent, or six to twelve months of related experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software, and a valid driver’s license. Physical duties include extended sitting, occasional stair climbing, lifting up to 20 lb, reading documents, hearing verbal communications, and using mobile devices.

This on‑site position is based primarily in an office setting, with occasional outdoor exposure and an environment that may include bright lights, noise, and distractions.
