Familiar with operability and maintainability reviews, HAZOP studies.
Have some experience in developing performance-based strategies and/or code alternates, utilizing fire engineering
Ability to apply technical knowledge to various practical problems
Experience within a large project, multidisciplinary EPC/EPCM environment. Experience in metals and minerals processing industry would be an advantage.
Understanding of construction and commissioning methodologies for the discipline.
Aptitude towards alternative compliance approaches, and thinking “outside the box”
Understanding of other discipline interfaces and requirements

A post graduate qualification in Fire Engineering is considered a strong asset.
