Participate in internal committees such as the QM Committee and CLAS Committee and represent NAC within the provider community as needed
Oversight of the Behavioral Health Outpatient department including centralized intake/assessment process, individual and group counseling, peer support, case management, prior authorization, and residential/IOP admissions
Establish workflows for all assigned services lines to ensure maximum efficiency and billable opportunities as well as ease of access to services for all clients, especially priority populations
Oversight of the Mobile Health Initiative, including operational expenses, staffing, training, and maintenance of the van
Oversight of the Medical Clinic operations to ensure patient-centered, quality care is provided, maximizing appointments and delivery of services
Collaborate effectively with medical and behavioral health staff and providers to design a state-of-the-art integrated service delivery model
Support and actively engage in practices of inclusion through Cultural and Linguistically Appropriate Services (CLAS) Standards
Collaborate with staff to review agency-wide clinical training initiatives to identify opportunities for improving outcomes in clinical effectiveness, clinical practice and standards and enhancing quality and safety outcomes
Directly plans and oversees quality management goals and directives related to assigned service lines.
Provide administrative and clinical leadership for direct reports to support and develop the provision of services, to deliver high-value, culturally relevant and quality care that is financially feasible and sustainable
Assist in NAC marketing activities to ensure capacity is met and expanded
Facilitate agency-wide communication and updates on current public health initiatives
Oversee grant funded clinical initiatives for assigned service lines and ensure quality delivery of services, appropriate and timely reporting

Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills.
Familiar with HRSA, Federally Quality Health Center compliance, and service delivery.
Demonstrates a working knowledge of Local, State and Federal standards / regulations, with an emphasis in the delivery of managed Medicaid services in Arizona.
Demonstrates a working knowledge in the principles of Quality Management.
Able to sit, stand and walk with/ without accommodation.
Requires strong managerial and leadership skills.
Must be able to work well with others in a team approach.
Master’s degree required. Master’s in counseling, Social Work.
Knowledge and experience in both primary care and behavioral health care are strongly preferred.
Experience in working with the Native American population preferred
Independent Clinical License through the State Board of Behavioral Health Examiners required for those with a clinical degree.
Five years of progressive experience in the delivery, supervision and management of behavioral health or medical services in a State Licensed Health Care Agency.
Must demonstrate critical thinking, problem- solving and organizational and time management skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work effectively with a wide range of people, teams, managers, supervisors, and vendors.
Knowledge of the cultural, social and economic background of the target Native American population.
MS Office proficiency
Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration or M.B.A. with clinical degree and license preferred
Excellent customer service skills.
