Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including ICP, GC, spectrophotometers, balances, and related systems.
Report near-misses and safety events in the SIMS system and assist with incident investigations.
Maintain lab cleanliness and organization by following 5S and housekeeping standards.
Train others in routine test methods and support cross-training initiatives.
Contribute to the efficient running of the laboratory by helping with infrastructure duties such as restocking of supplies, cleaning of glassware, disposing of samples, and managing sample retains.
Participate in safety programs including Behavior-Based Safety (BBS), conduct safety inspections, and act as a First Aid responder.
Accurately document and record test data in both written and electronic formats, including entry into the LQM database.
Enter laboratory data into the LQM database and run interim and final reports to release samples for production use.
Standardize equipment prior to use and ensure proper calibration and functionality.
Communicate any out-of-specification results to Operations promptly.
Perform routine and specialized testing on samples based on established priorities and procedures.

Proficiency in Acid-Base Titration.
Strong math skills for frequent calculations.
Ability to interpret results and troubleshoot discrepancies, distinguishing between test errors and sample issues.
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry (BA or BS required).
Biology degree with a Chemistry minor may be considered.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
