Selecting and specifying appropriate electrical equipment, such as transformers, switchgear, motors, and instrumentation, ensuring they meet project requirements and industry standards.
Collaborating with mechanical, control, and other engineers to ensure the smooth integration of electrical systems with other plant components.
Ensuring that all electrical work complies with relevant safety regulations and industry standards, such as those from the National Electrical Code (NEC).
Making sure to complete assigned projects on time while adhering to project quality and budget objectives.
Develop one-lines, load lists, cable schedules, grounding and protection diagrams; design power distribution, control, and protection schemes.

Demonstrate strong communication, collaboration, and client-facing professionalism.
B.S. in Electrical Engineering (power systems focus); M.S. is preferred. Working knowledge of mechanical/controls aspects of turbines and RICE gensets is a plus
10+ years of electrical design/consulting experience for gas turbine/cogeneration and/or reciprocating engine power plants.
