Description

The Mechatronics & Robotics Technician supports the Operations Maintenance team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems, installing automated packaging and distribution equipment, and mentoring junior technicians.

• Follow safety procedures and promote a safe work environment
• Perform preventive maintenance with proper documentation
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical/mechanical issues on material handling equipment (belts, motors, sensors, relays, etc.)
• Maintain inventory and track department supplies

Requirements

The position is on‑site in Houston, TX, may require up to 20% travel, and requires candidates to be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

• Lift/move up to 49 lb and stand/walk during up to 12‑hour shifts; travel up to 20 % of time
• High school diploma or equivalent; flexible schedule availability
• Minimum 2 years experience repairing material handling equipment and conducting preventive maintenance
• Preferred: associate degree in mechanical/electrical field; experience with automated conveyor systems, blueprint reading, CMMS, and robotic/electromechanical maintenance
• Physical demands include repetitive bending, crouching, lifting up to 49 lb, and working in confined, dusty, noisy, or temperature‑extreme environments
