Construction Manager

Description

The role is responsible for managing delivery of specific work packages, meeting KPIs for safety, quality, cost and programme. It involves building and managing relationships with trade/sub‑contractors, internal and external colleagues, and stakeholders as part of the construction delivery team.

• Support the team in driving performance, delivering performance management, technical development and coaching.
• Manage the structure and fit‑out of an assigned area or package, ensuring site conditions, programme, quality and safety standards.
• Liaise with project package managers on programme and critical‑path works for the area.
• Lead forecast look‑ahead meetings for the area or package together with the package manager.
• Provide detailed planned vs actual data for all works, escalating deviations to construction leadership when needed.
• Utilise the project digital strategy and locate construction information as required.
• Manage close‑out of the area, adhering to QA/QC plans, ITPs and handover procedures.
• Develop effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Leverage the Centre of Excellence knowledge base and company best practices.
• Promote business priorities in construction, production, digital, data and responsible business practices.
• Collaborate on net‑zero carbon transition, identifying and managing carbon emissions and reductions during delivery.

Requirements

• Hold a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• Possess relevant experience in the field.
