In this role you will supervise a team of trade operatives to deliver efficient maintenance and repair of Riverside Group’s housing stock. You will coordinate work schedules, oversee on‑site activities, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain high‑quality standards, while acting as the primary liaison between residents, contractors, the planning team and management.
- Supervise trade operatives (plumbers, carpenters, wet trades) to ensure timely maintenance and repairs of housing stock.
- Coordinate daily work schedules with the planning team and manage contractor performance against SLAs.
- Conduct pre‑, in‑progress and post‑inspections to uphold quality and health & safety standards.
- Mentor operatives and trainees, providing technical guidance and ensuring compliance with H&S regulations.
- Monitor progress, costs and KPIs; produce performance reports and identify cost‑effective service delivery options.
- Manage workloads, address under‑performance, and foster positive relationships with residents and stakeholders.
- Participate in out‑of‑hours rota and travel to other sites as required while maintaining confidentiality.

- Required: trade qualification, experience in social housing repairs, knowledge of building construction, strong leadership and communication skills, full driving licence.
- Desired: NEBOSH/IOSH certification and commitment to continuous professional development.
