We are currently seeking a Gas Engineer to join our busy team. In this exciting role you will be responsible for carrying out all types of repairs on heating and hot water systems to both tenanted and vacant properties in accordance with job tickets, opti‑time appointment slots, specifications, contract drawings, and applicable regulations. You will be covering the areas surrounding Sheffield, Doncaster, and Rotherham.
The Gas Engineer will carry out repairs on heating and hot water systems in both tenanted and vacant properties, adhering to job tickets, specifications, building regulations and safety standards. Work will be performed with a right‑first‑time ethos, ensuring quality workmanship and minimal repeat visits. The role includes accurate record‑keeping, material procurement, risk assessments and delivering high standards of customer care.
The successful candidate must hold a full manual UK driving licence and relevant ACS accreditations (CCN1, CENWAT1, CKR1, HTR1, DAH1, CPA1, UDHW) together with a City & Guilds Craft Certificate in Gas Maintenance (NVQ Level 3) or equivalent. Experience in domestic gas appliance installation, fault finding, servicing and delivering efficient repairs is essential, as are strong health and safety knowledge and excellent customer service skills.
The role offers a starting salary of £35,229‑£39,298, annual pay progression, 27 days holiday (rising to 32) plus bank holidays, and a flexible 37‑hour week.
