Deliver technical excellence and create efficient, innovative solutions
coordinate and support regulatory approval processes, including preparing documentation for audits, assessments, and railway safety certifications
prediction and demonstration of product reliability and availability;
Develop and execute verification and validation (V&V) plans, procedures, compliance matrices and associated reports in accordance with Customer and industry standards;
Ensure that all necessary reviews, verifications and validations are planned and conducted, and the outcomes of these are incorporated into the design;
Provide support to Projects as requested in verification and validation planning and statusing;
management of interface and integration issues between systems and scopes of work;
development of product functional safety assurance arguments;
ensure that all systems, components and process of the project meet safety, technical and operational requirements while complying with industry standards;
Build an enviable reputation and the trust of employees, clients and other stakeholders

Capable of interacting effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, subcontractors and regulatory authorities
Tertiary qualifications in a related engineering discipline
Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.
Previous exposure to systems engineering practices on multi-disciplinary Projects with a keen interest to contribute more in this field
Must have an Australian Drivers Licence
3-5 years relevant experience – including understanding of requirements management and compliance processes
Ability to provide a safe, supportive and positive workplace
Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks and simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment with multiple and competing demands
Ability to manage multiple verification and validation activities within complex, multidisciplinary projects, while maintaining project timelines, quality and safety standards
